Tim den Heijer is a writer, speaker and strategist specialising in creative behaviour-change campaigns. He worked as a creative director in the advertising industry for many of the world’s most well-known brands and received awards and nominations from New York to Cannes.
Convinced that science is the key ingredient in getting people to take action, he changed course and founded his own company, B.R.A.I.N. Creatives, under the motto “Inspired by science”.
The content of Tim’s keynotes formed the basis of the international bestselling book series he wrote together with behavioural scientist Eva van den Broek, The Housefly Effect (8 editions, 7 translations, 5 sequels, more than 100,000 copies sold worldwide, most of all in Japan).
Tim’s talks are known for their pace, humour and memorable examples that people want to pass on. The focus is always on “bluebottle effects”: the small things that quietly steer our behaviour.
